Selling your home with Red & Lime can cost as little as £825 (inc. VAT). However, there’s more to it than cost alone! There are plenty of other online estate agents out there but we offer something different. Apart from being cheaper and showcasing our properties on more websites than other online agents, we only operate in North Wales and Cheshire meaning we’re always on hand to provide the personal touch. In addition and again different to others, we like to assist our vendors when dealing with offers and once an offer has been accepted our traditional sales progression team get involved, regularly updating all parties with the aim that a happy and stress free conclusion to the sale is reached as soon as possible.

One upfront payment starting from £825 (inc. VAT)

Our standard online estate agency package costs just £825 and includes:

  • Feedback on viewings
  • Offer negotiation
  • Sale progression

Personalise your package by opting for our optional extras

Red & Lime also offer the option of accompanied viewings if you'd like us to carry them out on your behalf. You'll still be able to select time slots to suit you via your online portal. Accompanied viewings cost an additional £275 (inc. VAT) and you can add this option when you instruct us. In order to market your property, you will require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) which is a legal requirement. We can organise this for you at a cost of £90 (inc. VAT).

Transfer to our traditional full managed estate agency service

If you love selling your property the online, Red & Lime way then that's great. However, if at any point you decide you'd like to transfer over to our more traditional estate agency service with Town and Country Property Services you can easily do so. We will deduct any fees already paid to Red & Lime from the final cost of your sale with Town and Country.

The cost of moving home

The benefit of selling your home with Red & Lime is that you pay a one off, upfront fee from £825. This makes budgeting for your move easier and means one less bill to worry about once your sale has completed. Moving house can be expensive and the other costs that you will need to consider include

Mortgage Fees

Upfront mortgage fees will vary depending on your lender. These may include a booking fee, arrangement fee and surveyors fees. You will also need to consider your mortgage payments

Solicitor and Legal Fees

You will probably need a solicitor or licensed conveyancer to carry out all the legal work when buying and/or selling your home. We can recommend a number of excellent solicitors on request. However, unlike other online estate agents, we will never insist on you using a particular solicitor or penalise you for choosing your own.

Deposit

This is the amount you put towards the cost of the property when you buy your home. Unless you are a cash buyer, you will typically need around 5% to 20% of the purchase price

Stamp Duty

Stamp duty is a government tax which may have to be paid when purchasing a property. The rules, regulations and amount payable differ depending on the property price, the property location and your buying position, so it's worth checking out how this might affect you.
